Enrollment Policies

Holy Cross Regional Catholic School is a fully accredited Catholic school which provides education for approximately 520 children in Preschool through 8th grade. Each year we are blessed to welcome many new families to our school community!

Holy Cross Regional Catholic School is operated under the auspices of the Office of Catholic Education of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  All schools in the Archdiocese admit students of any race, religion, sex, nationality, and ethnic origin with all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students in these schools.

Enrollment Criteria:

In order to be considered a participating parishioner for tuition purposes, the family must provide:

  • Verification from the pastor indicating registration in St. Eleanor or Sacred Heart Parish.

  • If the family is a member of another parish, a release from the pastor of their home parish.

  • Certificate of Baptism from a Catholic Church (copy needed).

Any family not able to provide the above documentation is welcome to enroll at the school as a Non-participating or a Non-Parishioner if space is available.


School Age:

  • A child entering Kindergarten must be five years of age on or before September 1st of the year in which one seeks admission.

  • A child entering First Grade must be six years of age on or before September 1st of the year in which he/she seeks admission.

Registration Procedures:

If class space is available, we offer open enrollment throughout the year. The official registration period for the upcoming school begins in January. 


The first few weeks of our registration period are designated for our existing families to re-register their children and register any younger siblings for the upcoming year. During this period our existing families are given priority for reserving their spots in the classroom for the next year (although new families are still permitted and encouraged to submit their applications as well).  Once the re-registration period ends, our Open Enrollment period begins.

Families who wish to enroll their child(ren) in Holy Cross Regional Catholic School will receive an Admissions Packet with the instructions and forms needed to apply. They must complete an Admissions application along with several other required forms and submit their paperwork to the school office along with their registration fee.
